Gifting is 1 out of 5 love languages out there. The key is to give meaningful things that matter. I could never find an app that fit my needs for tracking gift ideas for friends and family. While there are several gift tracking apps available, many of them are time consuming and not atheistically pleasing. A better gift tracking app would allow users to easily create gift lists for loved ones and keep track of gift ideas. People can spend less time scrambling last minute by staying organized.

I've downloaded and trialed many applications out on the market with none that I thought were useful. Many apps didn't have the functionality or organization I wanted. Nor did it allow for pictures to be stored or notes to be taken.
I've compared many apps, but i've only included the biggest gift giving app on the market currently, Elster with another app that is gaining traction on the app store.

The gifting market is a $242 billion industry. After interviewing participants on their habits with finding a gift, their habits lead to 3 applications. Amazon, screenshots, and the notes app. Some people find gifting tedious, while others find gifting rewarding. I created two user personas to understand all types of gifters.
Using the user flow, I was able to create a low fidelity wireframe
I researched color theory for shoppers and learned that red is integrated for giving shoppers the feeling of urgency and excitement. Many brands out there use red such as Target, Pinterest, Safeway and Uniqlo. Blue ignites productivity and trust. Blue and red are also great complimentary colors to each other.
